Last Monday at Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda the students had their regular art class. Usually when we have an art class we do some classic art like painting, drawing or coloring. Monday’s class was a little different. The children had the opportunity to make something they could really play with!

We started by decorating our cardboard circles on both sides to create a cool rainbow spinning effect. The children followed their instructions well and were able to use 4 colors spread out. They all shared the materials nicely and cooperated with each other well.

Next, the students joined the circles together using double sided tape and asked their teachers to make two small holes in the cardboard to put a string through.

The students then threaded and tied the string. Finally they could play with their color wheels!
