A Grand Green Game Day

Today at Prime Academic Preschool, we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. The holiday is celebrated on March 17th and is usually celebrated in North America. Many people typically wear the color green. So, our students came in in many shades of green.

In the morning, we played a few games. First, we spread out many colored bears all over the floor and had to take all of the green colored bears and put them into the ring, which served as our pot of gold.

In the afternoon, we learned more about St. Patrick’s Day and leprechauns. We followed that activity with some arts and crafts. We made paper leprechaun hats and walked about like we are leprechauns ourselves. Leprechauns are said to be about the height of the children .

After we finished our craft, we played one last game and had our story time before it was time to say goodbye.

We hope that everyone has a great weekend and enjoy St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday.
