Fall is a beautiful time of year. At Prime Academic Preschool Gotanda the leaves have been changing and we have some beautiful reds, browns and yellow as in the park nearby.

On Friday the 20th students went out and collected leaves for this weeks art project. They had a great time collecting the colorful leaves from around the Gotanda area.

This week we used those leaves in our school art project. We used ink, paper and a gentle sponge to paint the leaves and stamp them onto the paper.

In any activity we are using paint or strong ink the students are very careful and the same was true today.

We used smocks to protect the children’s clothes and plastic sheets to take care of our tables and classrooms.

At the end of the evening we had some fantastic art and a nice clean work area!
